Introduction

Trigonometry is a simple mathematics concept, yet has a variety of applications particularly in modern advanced physics. During the IB syllabus, a variety of geometry chapters were covered including the circular measures and the geometry of triangles. The main aim of this research is to apply trigonometry in measuring huge distances. Measuring the distance to the starts is a topic that can relate to many areas of knowledge like as space dynamics where large units are normally involved. It came to my interest as it is compelling how simple trigonometry of measuring your angle to a certain point from two different locations can give how far is it is a technic used along in today's modern technology to measure new found stars granting us great discoveries.
